Book Forms

The form of the book provides constant inspiration and is central to my practice. I make unique, or ‘one-off’, book forms and sculptures. By incorporating unusual materials and found fragments of natural and other forms, I aim to create a pleasing tension between strength and fragility, functionality and form, in an interweaving of word and image inspired by poetry and, more recently, music listened to while I work.
